"Rational Kantha" is a project inspired by the rationalist architectural movement or Architettura Razionalista that developed in Italy between the 1920s-1930s.

The collection mixes kantha hand-embroidered items with items made of upcycled dead-stock fabric. Kantha is a running stitch embroidery tradition from West Bengal, India and Bangladesh that recalls rationalist architecture’s straight lines and structures.
